   Traders Helped Drive the Livestock Contracts Higher Through Thursday's Close

   Bids were offered throughout the day in the South at $253, but no cattle
traded.

GENERAL COMMENTS:

   The livestock complex ended the day mostly higher as traders were willing to
mildly support the contracts through the end of the day. Bids were offered
throughout the day in the cash market, but no cattle have traded yet. July corn
is down 7 1/4 cents per bushel and July soybean meal is down $0.20. The Dow
Jones Industrial Average is up 929.97 points and the NASDAQ is up 640.16 points.
